Cylindrical cell

Our range of protective solutions for cylindrical cells include rebound protection products and thermal barrier materials. These materials are designed to create a designated venting path whilst providing additional protection against the rebounding particles at the surrounding cells.

This technology is especially key where higher powered cells are used, for example 46xx formats. Additionally, our thermal barrier solutions are designed to be resistant against various cell sizes from 1865 to 46xx formats and can be fine-tuned in their thickness and insulation properties.

Our solution

Our rebound protection foam is an easy to dispense solution which can be used directly on top of the cells or as a self levelling component between the cells. The material is tested and verified by mixing and dosing equipment manufacturers for high volume applications. Our thermal barrier materials are dry-fit solutions, with thickness from 0.7 mm to 1.5 mm depending on the cells and can be used with adhesives for metal substrates or with over moulding for plastics.

Our solutions are applied across various application areas. For example, our foams can be adjusted in their viscosity and reactivity according to customer needs making them ideal for applications in automotive, bus, truck, and rail, industrial, and marine applications. 

Thermal insulation

Next to their excellent anti-propagation properties, our materials also show very low thermal and electrical conductivity and can act as a thermal and electrical insulator.
