Cylindrical cell
Our range of protective solutions for cylindrical cells include rebound protection products and thermal barrier materials. These materials are designed to create a venting path whilst providing additional protection against the rebounding particles around the surrounding cells.
This technology is key where cells with higher energy densities are used, for example 46xx formats. Additionally, our thermal barrier solutions are designed to protect various cell sizes from 1865 to 46xx formats and can be fine-tuned in their thickness and insulation properties.

Thermal insulation
Next to their excellent anti-propagation properties, our materials also show very low thermal and electrical conductivity and can act as a thermal and electrical insulator.
