Our client in the Gulf of Mexico required insulation, buoyancy, and VIV strakes for jumpers and structures. These solutions are traditionally supplied via separate contracts, often from multiple suppliers.
Our broad product range enabled us to become a single source supplier for all the required products. By reducing the number of contracts, we reduced risk for the customer, and ensured all work was completed within a tight deadline.

Solution
We provided all solutions for the customer within their tight deadline. First, ContraTherm® C25 was used to insulate manifolds, PLETs, pigging loops and jumpers.
At the same time, distributed buoyancy modules containing our internal clamp and integrated VIV strakes were installed to provide uplift and vibrational suppression. This unique approach saved valuable installation time.
Results
The successful completion of this project demonstrated that we are a single source provider of a varied range of products for global subsea requirements. We delivered more than subsea jumper insulation; we were also able to provide other integrated solutions from our product range.
