Product specifications
ContraFlame® MS400 half-shells are pre-cast insulation and passive fire protection for pipes with an Hp/A 300 and lower wall thickness schedule 10 or greater. A removable floating system, they have been tested to ensure they are compatible with other insulation systems to meet the required U-value. The typical system thickness is 60 mm including the vapour barrier, weighing 4.47 kg/m² without the stainless-steel cladding.
- Operational life of over 25 years
- Operational temperature range of -196 °C and +150 °C
- Provides both cryogenic spill protection and jet fire protection for 60 minutes
- Fire-rated to JF60
- Low thermal conductivity k-value – 0.032 W/(m K)
